Prioritising web-based interviewing (relatively cheap and quick) and topping up with CATI interviewing (relatively expensive and slow) ensures that budgets are put to best use, whilst gathering data in the quickest possible way.
So how do we achieve this?
Our in-house interviewing software allows seamless integration of online and telephone interviewing and allows CATI/Web switching - so we can start an interview online and finish later over the phone - or vice versa.
Running the various modes via the same system with a single questionnaire program for all modes removes the need for duplication, facilitates centralised management of sample, reduces cost and increases speed of turnaround.
