What we do

For all your UK & International

data collection needs

CATI INTERVIEWING

We have the resources to meet your needs for projects great and small:

Our field team consists of more than 500 highly experienced, articulate interviewers operating from our London and Berlin based call centres.  We call into over 120 countries using native language speakers. This includes all possible time zones and regions.

Kudos CATI centres have capacity for more than 150 interviewers and operates 24/7 allowing us to reach your target respondents at the right time for them, wherever they may be.

Our London and Berlin based call centres assist clients with all forms of telephone data collection, including B2B (Business to Business) and B2C (Business to Consumer) quantitative and semi-structured interviewing as well as telephone recruitment-to web and/or telephone reminders.

We have capability to run rapid-turnaround projects right through to longer-term and more involved global data collection studies.

Kudos can help you with projects ranging from highly targeted and niche data collection based on small sample sizes right through to annual tracker studies targeting as many as 30,000 customer satisfaction interviews - and everything in between.

Our fieldwork is IQCS and ISO20252 accredited and fully compliant with industry and government codes.

ALL CALLS ARE AUDIO RECORDED

All calls recorded to facilitate verbatim capture without disrupting the interview flow or respondents chosen pace.

Recording is also important in enabling quality assurance to ensure all information respondents share with us is correctly captured.

With the respondents’ permission, recordings can be digitally shared with clients, which can then enrich the data collected with the added insight and immediacy that listening to the interview can provide - the tone of the conversation adding value to the numeric answers collected. We can either upload recordings to an FTP site, or alternatively email WAV files as required.

MIXED MODE INTERVIEWING

We care about providing the best possible results in the most cost-effective manner and will recommend the most appropriate methodologies to use based on your individual requirements and target audience.

In offering a suit of methodologies, contacting respondents either online, by telephone, mobile or mixed mode means we can engage with your respondents in the way that best suits their lifestyles.

The end results are maximized response rates and minimizing bias that could be introduced by reliance on a single mode of data collection.

Prioritising web-based interviewing (relatively cheap and quick) and topping up with CATI interviewing (relatively expensive and slow) ensures that budgets are put to best use, whilst gathering data in the quickest possible way.

We also have the capability to present stimulus during a CATI interview online to respondents and can implement dual screen methodology where respondents and interviewers see the same screen.

The end results are maximized response rates and minimizing bias that could be introduced by reliance on a single mode of data collection.

Global Family Business

A project for one of the Big 4. This was seventh wave of the Global Family Business Survey. In 2014 we completed 2,400 interviews with family firms in 31 markets using 12 languages. We spoke to family members who manage their firms, and CEOs who had been brought in from outside. We spoke to those who plan to pass the running of the firm to the next generation, and to those who see their family’s future as owners but not managers of the business they have built. The turnover of participating companies was from USD$5m to USD$1bn. The interviews were conducted in the local language by native speakers and tended to average between 20 and 35 minutes.

The countries covered in the study are Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Kenya, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Peru, Romania, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, UK, US.

TESTIMONIAL

The entire team has been wonderful to work with. Kudos feels like a true partner. This was a very difficult and complex study and I can't imagine that anyone else could have done as good a job as Kudos has done. Everyone on the team consistently went above and beyond expectations to make sure everything happened on schedule, which I know was a challenge with the constant changes to scope, etc. Kudos is very fortunate to have such dedicated employes as Chris, Jeff, Ann-Marie, Efisio and Heidi!
Market Strategies International

Very positive experience with Kudos in previous projects. They have the best interviewers and are very dedicated to delivery the best service.
